Thoth is one of the Egyptian Pantheon and a god of magic on Earth. His wife is a god of law, Ma'at. Originally, Thoth was appointed to the role on Earth by Runekeeper, a god of magic to the cosmos, though they have very differing views on the regulation of magic. Thoth crafted the Book of Thoth, a magical book capable of allowing non-magical beings to cast spells from its pages. He also created a new ultranexus on Earth, from the standard nexus that already existed beneath the Pyramid of Giza. In so doing, he released Indigo Shade from her prison, which used the nexus as a binding shell.
