Lieutenant Randy is a human male that actually originates from within the TV, having appeared with the NeS Heroes when they were transported into the Star Wars movie. He travelled back into the Never-ending Story with the heroes, calling it reality, and joined them.

Lieutenant Randy has radiant red hair in a crew cut. He wears a red and black uniform with a complimentary gold trim and a black cape to complete the look[NeS1 1].
Personality
Typical to military personnel type, Randy tends to shoot first and ask questions later[NeS1 1].

Randy has several guns on his person; two pistols, a repeater, a rail gun and a concussion rifle[NeS1 1].
TenFour
TenFour is Randy's personal R2 unit, which is a small robot that can only communicate in a series of whistles and screeches. It is mostly used to help in astrological scenarios and would sit in the rear of a starfighter[NeS1 2].
X-Wing Starfighter
As Randy hails from the Star Wars[Ext 1] universe he had an actual X-Wing Starfighter[Ext 2] when he was first introduced, which was subsequently destroyed. The X-Wing was a one-man starfighter with a rear cockpit for R2 droids to sit in. It had an ejector seat for both pilot and droid, saving them from death when the X-Wing was destroyed[NeS1 3].
