Template:Character The human named Duke Hyperon was the brother of Flax Hyperon and a member of the Rebel Alliance that opposed the Galactic Empire of the Milky Way. He was captured by Captain Londris on the planet Ledus and imprisoned aboard The Excellence, flagship of Warlord Strang. He managed to escape and hid aboard a shuttle taking Captain Londris and her team to The Hopeful, which had been overrun by plantlife controlled by Green. He, along with fellow prisoner Wai, took Londris, Toolkit and Clear prisoner in the Command Centre of The Hopeful. There Duke shot Clear and killed the two imperials. However when Wai tried to take over the ship's Artificial Intelligence, known as Note, he was replaced by that very A.I.. Note, in the robot body of Wai, killed Duke Hyperon.

Duke Hyperon was meant to be the Star Wars[Ext Ref 1] equivalent of Flax Hyperon, who was more Star Trek[Ext Ref 2] inspired.
