An Aether Processor is an orbital processing plant that transforms raw gaseous magic, aether, into useable magical fuel for starships throughout the Milky Way Galaxy. They were created by the fayries and used commonly on aether rich planets such as Uranus and Neptune. The plants themselves are fed by gigantic pipes that pump aether from atmosphere into the plant itself.

Description[]

Appearance[]

The aether processors are orbital stations that orbit around an aether rich planet and are fed via gigantic pipes that pump aether into the plant[Pan 1]. Each processor has a wide flat top that is then surrounded by four, fat funnels that reach up high into the atmosphere to soak in the aether up there[Pan 2]. Some of them are ground-based and jut up into the upper atmosphere like great chimneys[Pan 2].

Function[]

They are used to transform raw aether into magical fuel for use in starships[Pan 1]. They are powered by a sphere within the facility[Pan 2].

Aether Processors are used by the fayries on the twin planets of Uranus and Neptune of the Solar System. Aether is generated by the presence of an ancient nexus and gathers up in the atmosphere where it is then pumped into the processing plants in orbit[Pan 1]. Some have been there for so long that the bluevines have grown all the way up to their tops over the centuries[Pan 3].
